2011
AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center was a 2011 recipient of the
AHA-McKesson Quest for Quality Finalist Award. The prize honors
hospitals that have committed in a systematic manner to achieving the
six quality aims of the Institute of Medicine (IOM) — safety, patient-centeredness,
effectiveness, efficiency, timeliness, and equity; can document progress in achievement of all six of the IOM aims; and provide replicable models and systems for the hospital field.
AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center – Atlantic City Campus is a recipient of the 2011 QUEST Award for High Value Healthcare –Honorable Mention, recognizing hospitals achieving top performance in the three measures (cost, evidenced-based care, and mortality).

Both campuses of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center designated Accredited Chest Pain Centers by The Society of Chest Pain Centers.
For the past five years, AtlantiCare Home Health has been awarded HomeCare Elite™, an annual compilation of the most successful home care providers in the United States.
For two consecutive years, AtlantiCare was awarded the highest distinction for overall quality of outpatient care from Professional Research Consultants, a national healthcare market research organization.

AOA (American Osteopathic Association) accreditation for medical residency
AtlantiCare TEAM Diabetes became an affiliate the renowned Joslin Diabetes Center
AtlantiCare Cancer Care Institute cancer program is accredited by the American College of Surgeons (ACOS) Commission on Cancer and the National Accreditation for Breast Cancer Programs (NAPBC).
AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center receives Joint Commission advanced certification for Heart Failure and Primary Stroke Center. These are voluntary certifications that are granted following a rigorous assessment of care standards.
AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center receives Joint Commission disease specific certification in Hip and Knee Joint Replacement. These are voluntary certifications that are granted following a rigorous assessment of care standards.

2009
Awarded the 2009 Malcom Baldrige National Quality Award, the nation’s highest presidential honor bestowed to organizations for quality and organizational performance excellence. AtlantiCare was only one of five winners – and one of only two healthcare organizations – throughout the United States to earn this distinguished honor.

The Center for Surgical Weight Loss & Wellness at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center was re-certified an American Society for Bariatric Surgery (ASBS) Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence (BSCOE). The ASBS Center of Excellence designation recognizes surgical programs with a demonstrated track record of favorable outcomes in bariatric surgery.

2007
From 2007 to 2011, survey responses for multiple service lines, including those for the Surgery Center, the Spine Institute, the Bariatric Institute, Outpatient Radiation Oncology, Urgent Care, and Clinical labs, show customer satisfaction above the Professional Research Consultants (PRC) 90th percentile national benchmarks. In customer preference, AtlantiCare was the 2008 market leader over competitors for the overall system.

AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center ranked seventh among the nation’s hospitals in providing quality care for heart attack, congestive heart failure, and pneumonia by the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services’.
