Resident education and training at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center embody an experience of true responsibility in comprehensive patient care.

They incorporate traditional medicine with new practice trends. Our training includes exposure to patients with diverse medical backgrounds and pathology.

We stress that the treatment of disease includes not only dealing with pathology but also supporting the patient's well-being as a whole. This perspective enables us to formulate a rational, scientific, and personal approach to the care of each patient.

Residents are prepared for the changing environment of healthcare and the challenges of providing the highest quality of care in a cost-effective manner.

Residents are active participants in the evaluation and development of their training program, based on their feedback, program evaluation, surveys and suggestions. The program's strength is derived from the camaraderie that exists amongst residents and faculty, proving that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
