Scott W. Strenger, MD, MMM, FACS, CPE

Dr. Strenger received his medical degree from the University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1982. He completed his general surgical residency year and neurosurgical residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York where he was Chief Resident and was awarded the Association of Attending Staff/Bella Tractenberg Award for House Staff Excellence in 1988. In 2002, Dr. Strenger received a Master of Medical Management degree from the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Strenger is Certified by American Board of Neurological Surgery and was awarded Fellowship status in the American College of Surgeons. He currently holds the position of Medical Director, Shore Memorial Hospital Neurosciences Center, and has previously served as Chairman of the Department of Surgery, as well as Director of the Division of Neurosurgery at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center. In 2001, Dr. Strenger was designated a Certified Physician Executive by the Certifying Commission in Medical Management. Dr. Strenger specializes in microsurgical and minimally invasive techniques for cerebral and spinal disorders, as well as providing general neurosurgical services. In addition, Dr. Strenger provides consulting services for personal injury cases, workers compensation cases, and malpractice defense.
